Stack and Tilt – Golf Swing Improvement
If you’re looking for more consistency and power, then you will want to try out the Stack and Tilt Swing. There seem to be some skeptics, but many articles and comments I have read are positive towards the stack and tilt method. This is a short summary of how the swing works. Throughout the swing you will want to keep most of your weight on your lead foot. When you address the ball, have 60 percent of your weight on your lead foot, then through the backswing having 80 percent of your weight on the front foot. They also instruct you to move your left shoulder down, not laterally when swinging. Once you practice all of the instructions you should be hitting the ball with greater accuracy and distance.
If your looking to get started there is an instructional DVD set that offers a ton of information on how to implement the stack and tilt into your swing. The video has all of the instructions you will need to apply these techniques to your swing.
